The Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family (Sagrada Família) is a large unfinished Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Gaudí's work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage. Staring the construction in 1882, it is still being in progress and completion is projected in 2026, the centenary of Gaudí's death.
This blog's entry shows some of my photographs that I took amongst hundreds of other visitors in July 2017. If you would like to get an impression how the building will look in 2026, you may visit this 3D animation.
